I have been using Le Creuset stainless steel kettle for so many year. I can never switch to nay other so every year I searched for a good deal sale all around Toronto for my favourite Kettle to buy one..
this year I found one at Cookery cheaper than other stores and I received quite a great service on top of the discount. it was my first purchase from the store but won't be the last.. thanks you!!!!
I was only introduced to The Cookery store on Bloor Street West just before Christmas 2022. The store is a beautiful modern kitchen store where all of the best brands and products are well displayed. The atmosphere is both friendly and inviting.
On my first visit I did not purchase anything. At home I checked out The Cookery website and discovered that The Cookery on-line also carries all of the best brands for a well-equipped kitchen. I decided to buy a Le Creuset Stainless Steel Kettle (which gets great reviews). I called the store in the middle of the Christmas rush. Gabrielle was simply amazing over the phone (on one of the busiest shopping days of the year). She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and super helpful. The Bloor Street West store did not have the Le Creuset kettle in stock but Gabrielle offered to have it shipped from their Montreal store on time for Christmas. I immediately ordered it over the phone.
I have had some terrible experiences with the packaging of goods being shipped over the years - so I was a bit anxious. The package arrived at home in about three days. The packaging was extremely well done - the product box was nested inside of a heavy-duty outer box with serious bubble-packs inside and lots of packing tape. The package arrived in perfect condition!!! There was even a “hand-written note” inside the box thanking me for my business (What a nice personal touch!)
A couple of days later, Gabrielle called me to follow-up and to make sure that everything was OK. Thank you Gabrielle!
In summary - The Cookery offers great brands and products, in a really nice store, with amazing staff who know their stuff, a strong service culture, timely delivery that is properly packed for shipping, a follow-up phone call and a personal note. Overall, I was super impressed!!!
Now I know where my future kitchen purchases will be coming from. The Cookery on Bloor Street West in Toronto is highly recommended.
