2017 Cooking Classes on Roncesvalles
We are pleased to offer a range of classes for all age groups and skill levels. Our chefs will help you to build your culinary repertoire, sharpen your knife skills, entertain like a pro, and set your kids on the road to success in the kitchen.
This month's highlight is Weekday Gourmet: Surf & Turf on Monday, March 20th with Chef Paula Bambrick. For this night's '2 meals in 2 hours', we will be demonstrating All-Clad's new 'not a non-stick, non-stick' line: D3 Armor. All participants for this class will get 20% off ANY All Clad product in-store, including the NEW D3 Armor.
Many of you have asked for more pastry classes for adults, so we're bringing in the experts! Join local baker and entrepreneur Lorraine Hawley and Pastry Chef Hannah Greene, for an evening of pastry-making where you will learn the secrets behind Mabel's signature goodies. Lorraine & Hannah will share their secrets for great scratch-baking and together you will make classic pie dough, organic fruit hand pies, and lemon tarts with pate sucre. BOOK NOW!
For Kids we are offering our After School Program for 8 to 12 year-olds as well as a range of other PA Day Workshops, Sunday morning baking for the little ones, and Summer Camp! See calendar for dates.

COOKERY 101: Knife Skills Spring Menu Book Now!

Sharpen your knife skills with Chef Sasha Gaponovitch and learn what the hardest working tool in your kitchen can do. Our new spring menu includes Fish Tacos with fresh corn tortillas, guacamole, tomato salsa, mango salsa, pickled shallot and cabbage slaw, and for dessert a seasonal fruit Crostata (an Italian open-faced tart).
We continue to have 'teaching status' from our knife partners for this class. All participants qualify for student pricing on a student set of knives - whether it be Shun, Wusthof, or Global - which includes 3 knives - typically a 8" Cook's knife, a 6" Utility, and a 3.5" pairing knife (details in-store).
