Meet Chef Susan Johnston
Susan Johnston is a new addition to the Toronto culinary scene, having moved from Calgary in 2017. She graduated from the Professional Cooking program at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and worked in several fine dining restaurants before earning her Red Seal and turning to educating others in the realm of culinary arts. After completing an education degree at the University of Alberta, Susan taught both commercial and domestic cooking to students in the Calgary Board of Education for four years. She is passionate about making cooking accessible and fun for all skill levels.
In her spare time, Susan loves exploring the world and its bounty of culinary delights. She enjoys trying local cuisines and learning the stories of the dishes and the people who prepare them.
