Welcome to Cookery’s masterclass in baking for all your budding bakers. Your young bakers will be introduced to the art of cooking and the science of baking with expert guidance from our cooking instructor and baking aficionado Chef Anne Hynnes. In this camp your young chefs will have loads of fun learning to transform seasonal ingredients into delectable magical treats ready for the upcoming holiday season. They will practice the all-important knife skills, learn the art and science of pastry, cake and bread making, master key kitchen and baking fundamentals, and gain kitchen confidence along the way.
This camp will focus on pastry making, sweet and savoury (Fall Fruit Galette, Chicken Pot Pie); caking making (Steamed Pudding with toffee sauce); yeast bread (Pizza Margherita); cookie (shortbread, sweet and savoury); and last but not least, an introduction into chocolate making (Chocolate Truffles).
If you have food sensitivities or dietary restrictions please check with your local Cookery location, before attending the class. We always try to accommodate however adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
