IN PERSON CLASS: Knife Skills 101, Sat. June 1, (Cookery Leslieville)

Saturday June 1, 7 pm - 9:30 pm Hands-On. (19+) 

Have you wondered what a honing steel is?  Let Chef Jessica Roberts, a Cookery veteran, help you sharpen your knife skills and learn what the hardest working tool in your kitchen can do. You will practice the correct grip, how to slice, and chiffonade with expert guidance, learn about knife maintenance and curating your own collection according to your needs. Together, we will turn what we chopped, sliced, minced, chiffonade into a meal, to make Asian Beef Bowls with Pickled Carrot & Daikon Radish, Miso-Roasted Mushrooms, Jasmine Rice & Kimchi Mayo.

Wines available for purchase by glass.

Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
