Saturday, August 8, 7 pm - 9:30 pm Hands-On. (19+)
Come join Chef Flavia Campelo as we celebrate the bright, vibrant flavours of a Mediterranean summer, taverna-style. Together, we’ll create a stunning spread of small plates that highlight bold, seasonal ingredients. Our mezze board will feature silky Hummus, creamy Whipped Feta, Marinated olives, Roasted Tomatoes and Bell Peppers, Calamari Fritti, and freshly made pita. We continue with papillote Salmon with Chimichurri, served with Saffron Rice Pilaf with Almonds; and a fresh Salad of summer Tomatoes, Stone fruit, Shaved Fennel, Basil, and Burrata; and end our evening with scratch-made Cannoli filled with Ricotta, Mascarpone, topped with Pistachio and Chocolate.
Wine is included in the price of class. 19+ Wine pairings are provided by our resident wine expert, Amy McIntyre.
With advance notice we are also happy to provide non-alcoholic craft wine for your enjoyment.
If you have food sensitivities or dietary restrictions please check with your local Cookery location, before before registration. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
