Saturday January 17, 7 pm - 9:30 pm Hands-On. (19+) 

Come join Chef Anne Hynes in another celebration of the bright flavours of Japanese Izakaya - light and fresh, big and bold, highly addictive comforting favourites. Tonight we make small plates of bold flavours beginning with the classic izakaya mainstay Tsukune (grilled chicken meatballs skewers with tare glaze); the addictively delicious Tempura of Shrimp and Winter Vegetables, Spiced Sea Salt;  Oshizushi (pressed sushi) with Smoked Salmon, Avocado, Shiso, Sesame; Beef Tataki served with Ponzu and Shiso, Greens and Rice and Miso Caramel Apple Tarte Tartin to end our exciting evening.

Wine is included in the price of class.  Wine pairings, a red and a white option are provided by our resident wine expert, Amy McIntyre. With advanced notice we are also happy to provide non-alcoholic craft wine for your enjoyment.

If you have food sensitivities or dietary restrictions please check with your local Cookery location, before registration. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
