Wednesday January 28, 7 pm - 9:30 pm Hands-On. (19+) 

Let Chef Anne Hynes help you sharpen your knife skills and learn what the hardest working tool in your kitchen can do - the almightly chef knife.  You will practice the correct grip, how to slice, brunoise, chiffonade and more with expert guidance, learn about knife maintenance (what the heck is a honing steel?) and curate your own collection according to your cooking needs. Together we will make Mushroom Bruschetta, Caramelized Onions and Herbs; Sumac Garlic Chicken, Root Vegetables, Za'atar served with Rice Pilaf;  Sauteed Swiss Chard Chili, Garlic; Citrus with Honey, Pomegranate and Halva. 

Wines, a red and a white option are paired by Amy McIntrye, our wine enthusiast and available for purchase by glass. With advance notice we are also happy to provide non-alcoholic craft wine for purchase for your enjoyment.

If you have food sensitivities or dietary restrictions please check with your local Cookery location, before registration. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
