It's the weekend - the cozy comfort food continues!
Cold outside? Check. Locked down? Check. It's time to make a Comfort Food and curl us with a streaming service. Sure, you could do porridge or simple scrambled eggs, but you could also go for a little more adventure this weekend!
Enter Cookery's Chef Jessica and her restaurant-quality recipes for home. This weekend: Green Shakshuka with Za'atar Pita crisps! It sounds super exotic, but you probably have most of these ingredients at home. If you need to zip out, everything can be found at your local grocery store.
And if you need help, we are here with the Za'atar, Sumac, and Chili Flakes from Toronto's The Spice Trader - and any other essentials!
With the new lockdown measures in full effect, please know we are still here to help you with all of your kitchenware needs, with curbside pick up, same-day delivery for local orders put in before noon, and every kind of shipping available.
Don't forget to share images of your homemade breakfast and brunches with us @cookerystore
Stay well, be comforted!
