Breville the Soft Top™ Pure Kettle

This is a replacement for that same make and model, which lasted about 5 years. This version is inferior to that model because (1) previous version had light at fill line to see how much water was in the kettle and it looked nice (2) this version I have to hit the ON switch just right to get it to turn on whereas the previous version had a solid “click” in place to turn on. It does the job of boiling water quickly, but for the differences to previous version and my expectation that I’ll need to replace it again in 5 years with a subsequently more inferior version, this brand has become overpriced, even on sale.

After my first Breville electric kettle ended its life, I was so glad to have found the same model. This is my second Breville electric kettle. I love the look of the kettle and the way it boils water.
