Homemade Mint Lemonade: The Ultimate Summer Sip

Mint lemonade is your answer. This summer classic combines the bright tang of fresh lemons with the crisp, cooling flavour of mint, creating a drink that’s both energizing and soothing. Whether you’re hosting a backyard BBQ, lounging on the patio, or need a midday pick-me-up, this mint lemonade hits the spot every time.

Here’s how to make it:

Yields 1 pitcher

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 whole lemon, cut into small wedges
  • ¾–1 cup sugar (adjust sweetness to taste)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 cups of ice
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves


Method:

  1. In a blender, combine lemon juice, lemon wedges, sugar, 1 cup of cold water, ice, and fresh mint leaves.
  2. Blend until the mixture is frosty and smooth.
  3. Pour into glasses immediately—no straining needed.
  4. Garnish with mint sprigs and/or lemon wedges and serve right away.
