Finnish Buttermilk Cake
Yield: 1 cake
Ingredients
2 ½ cups flour
1 ½ cups sugar, plus extra for coating pan
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ cup melted butter, plus extra for coating pan
1 ½ cups buttermilk
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat a Bundt pan well with butter and then sugar.

In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In small bowl, whisk melted butter with buttermilk, and add to dry ingredients. Stir until just incorporated.

Pour batter into pan and bake 1 hour. Let cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes before inverting.
