Ingredients 

2 medium skinless, boneless chicken breasts (about 454 grams), patted dry 

2 ½ teaspoon sea salt, divided 

¼ cup all-purpose flour 

¼ cup (or more) extra-virgin olive oil 

8 garlic cloves, finely chopped 

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 

1 796ml can whole peeled tomatoes 

1 ½ teaspoon sugar 

1 500 gram package shelf-stable potato gnocchi 

60 grams Parmesan, finely grated 

225 grams part-skim mozzarella, sliced ¼" thick 

Basil leaves (for serving; optional)
